We have always been a 20. We never left level 20. Our light level left 20. We will still be able to use all of our current gear as the only requirement is to be 20+ we simply will be leveling past 20 with actual levels this time around.

What if they make our current armour for lvl 26, 30, etc.

They will be giving us a consumable that will allow us to bring ONE charachter up to minimum level to play the taken king. Whatever level that may be.
