Friendly reminder that the longest piece of english literature
...is a Super Smash Bros Brawl fanfiction. With 300 chapters and 4,000,000 words, it is the longest piece of english liteterature in the world. And the best part is, [i]it's not finished.[/i] More chapters are still being released.
Here's a snippet:

Actually you'd be wrong. I wouldn't put it past liscence agreement terms to stretch to lengths beyond that.

From what I've found, the KJV Bible is about 800,000 words, or only 20% of the estimate of that story. I don't even want to [i]think[/i] about reading that fanfic if that's the case.
