The poison was specifically applied to the sword, it's not always there. The sword can be blocked with other weapons, but not armor, that's how it works. And the immortality is a bitch because I do actually die, I just wake back up a few days later, minus one loved one

Should have specified about the sword, but yes, Durzo carries around everything an assassin might need- daggers, a sword, poison needles, poisons themselves, rope, wrist hooks, etc. Specific magic artifacts with noticeable effects are the Black Ka'Kari, also called the Devourer, which can make him invisible and absorb magic that it touches, Curoch, also called the Sunderer or the Sword of Power, which can cut through any armor and take the form of any weapon, but it mostly acts as an amplifier for magic, and Iures, the Staff of Law, which provides no power boost but gives the ability to both weave and unravel incredibly complex magic.
