The date is set: On August 5th, Bungie.net will require all platform requests to contain a valid API key. For those of you who already include the API key, there is no action to take. If your application does not include a valid key, please get that fixed before the 5th!
UPDATE: Well that was fun. Thanks for your feedback. Our first 24 hours of requiring a key uncovered a bug that means we will not be checking for the key again for a couple of more weeks. If you are already sending your key, great! Don't change anything. If you are not sending your key, you get some more time...but please get your applications updated to start sending the key.

Edited by JAMontoya: 8/6/2015 5:35:47 AMHey, thanks for the reminder. So all of my requests are working fine except for the Manifest. I'm adding the API key in the same way as everything else but I keep getting ErrorCode 2102. It's just the manifest one for some reaason. What could be the problem? EDIT: My mistake, it was a problem with caching. EDIT2: It works intermittently. I'll get ErrorCode 1 every one in a while, but mostly just 2102. EDIT3: It's now working fine. I think it was something server side because requests through the browser were working fine even without API and now they're not.
