I don't want to move on from my armor due to their looks. But I can move on from most of my weapons.

Exactly! And if Bungie allowed players to bring gear forward, it wouldn't stop [i]anyone[/i] from doing that. Players could use whatever gear they want, whenever they want, and it wouldn't hurt [i]anyone[/i]. XD
