First off, you can't use luck as a bonus. Yes it's part of his story, but it's just a plot shield. Second, we have no idea how powerful the guardians shields are. What I said at the bottom of my first post was a joke aimed at the and TLW. We do know that Chiefs armor is the same as the other Spartan twos, and that means pretty flawed, the shields are weak, don't always work, and the armor is especially vulnerable to plasma burns. In comparision, guardian shields don't seem to appear in lore, but if their armor can deflect most of their weapons, that means that it's pretty strong. It's pretty self evident that guardian guns are much more powerful than Halo guns. I really don't think there is much that the Spartans can do except get up close. If they even get there, supers would finish them off.

  • There really wouldn't be a super in a 1v1 and Chief still has faster reflexes than any guardian out there. The man can see and dongle plasma cannons with a quick glance and side step. No matter how good a guardian's armory is, he wouldn't be able to land enough shots on Chief to even get close to killing him.

  • Chief has been shot by regular human bullets before while he was looking at the attacker. He's not neo, he's just fast. Plasma travels slower and that's why he could dodge it.but in the destiny universe, one would only need to shoot him once or twice. Whereas he might not be able to penetrate the playing of a titan. Also, why wouldn't supers count. They're one of the three main abilities of a guardian. It's not like master chief doesn't have stuff. He would have a drop shield. My point is. Destiny is so much more technologically advanced than halo, it's ridiculous. But it doesn't matter, because neither of these characters are real, and neither will ever fight the other.

  • A guardian wouldn't be able to have a super because it would have to charge. Seeing how there is a fairly long charge on a super we could bet that a guardian wouldn't have a chance to use it before the fight is over. Although, I still believe the armory of a guardian doesn't make them capable of taking Master Chief. If you've read the books (which I hope you have) you'd know that he is certainly an above average Spartan whereas a causal guardian is simply a guardian. Nothing more, nothing less. Chief excels where others don't and is able to think quicker and react faster than most. Plus, with Cortana by his side I don't see how a ghost could ever provide enough intel to get the upper hand.

  • But lore wise, supers don't charge, they recharge. And if their both coming in fully equipped, then it makes sense that the guardian would have everything at his disposal.

  • A guardian doesn't walk into any area with their super fully charged, they have to charge it themselves. Nowhere in-game does a guardian spawn with full super energy so it would only make sense they don't in this scenario. If anything, the should be using whatever they normally would use in-game. Chief an Assault Rifle and a guardian would be more miscellaneous.

  • Can chief flip elephants in lore?

  • What does that have to do with anything exactly?

  • I was trying to make the point that lore and gameplay aren't always the same. Lore wise, it's pretty obvious that guardians would have the upper hand. But gameplay wise, chief probably has an advantage.
