• Borderlands has 10's of millions of weapons. Destiny has maybe a couple hundred. #move on #to a better example

 • You're playing a rpg style game, of course your character will out grow weapons. Does a WoW player still hold on to a lvl 5 dagger because it served it well for a couple of months? I used to play Phantasy Star Online(Original Destiny) had weapons I really liked but better ones come along.

 • I get what you're saying, but weapons in Destiny don't have levels; they have level requirements, which is an important distinction. It's been implied from the beggining that once players finish the "tutorial" levels (1-20), they're free to use whatever they want. Player level has always been the most important factor, you know? Legendary weapons are the "standard" weapons, and have always been intended as such. Because of that, why should "new" standard weapons be more powerful than "old" standard weapons? They're all still technically "lvl20" weapons, in that sense.

 • So do the ones in borderlands. The difference is that you have 100s of different versions based on the parts used to build the weapon.

 • So take a unlevelled lvl 20 Weapon to Skolas then..................

 • My unleveled lvl20 Messenger still did 365, bro. All Legendary weapons should fall into the same catagory, imo. (And the Messenger was just the first gun that came to mind, but I just remembered that I actually beat Skolas for the first with an unleveled Messenger, haha)

 • "U guys?" Bruh, I'm a Day 1 player; you don't need to tell me how much grinding this game required early on, haha.

 • I understand your point but its the same as other rpgs in destiny you roll for the best perks. How much did u do crota for an infusion helm. How many times did you reroll a launcher for tripod and grenades and horseshoes
