I agree with you 100%. Here is my take. You spent the money you earned to play the game. You spent your time to collect the guns you enjoy playing with. Now along comes Bungie, and they say "Hey here's new content, but to move forward , you have to go backwards." It's just stupid. The major arguments of "It's a MMO style game, that's what is supposed to happen, and its Progress" are crap. It's the developers responsibility to the consumer to appreciate the fact you are spending your money on their product., to make something better than what you have. So you'll purchase that content and try to acquire that new weapon or armor. If you take the Mother of all money making MMO's WoW. They do the same thing. New expansion, two levels in, the gear you have is worthless. Destiny is the same way. It's one of about 20 reasons i'll not be buying this expansion.
