Why would you want to use the same gun for 10 years straight cause that's what a lot of people would do and they want variety.

In halo, cod, or battlefield you use the same weapons for the duration of the games life. So yes I would want a good gun for 10 years rather than cycling through crappy ones every 3 months.

I never said I didn't want to move on to new guns! I do! :D I just don't see how haveing the [i]option[/i] to make old gear relevant prevents [i]anyone[/i] from moving on, if they [i]want to[/i]. If they let gear move forward, [i]everyone[/i] wins; you can still delete all your old gear if you [i]want[/i] to.

Because they can't make a weapon that's just as good in a different way. A final round and spray and play with a hand cannon is neat but not great. The perks on fatebringer were just great in terms of synergy. It's hard to get that type of synergy into new weapons because they can't be arsed to do it
