IF THEY STOP GETTING UPGRADED, THEY BECOME OBSOLETE. If Vanilla weapons were still at 300, they'd be [i]obsolete right now.[/i] By capping current gear, it essentially gives it an expiration date. Example: If I sealed up the gas tank in your car, so that you couldn't put any more gas in it, that car would be [i]obsolete[/i], because why bother using a car that's [i]destined to run out of gas.[/i]

  • Please look at the conversation with Aname below for the Oxford definition of obsolete. What you are describing is broken. All your weapons will still kill things like they are right now, just .01 seconds slower.
