One question, if the weapons will be obsolete then why is Blackhammer being nerfed? What is the point?

I don't understand how some people don't actually know why Black hammer is OP and why it's getting it's nerf. It has the potential to endlessly stun lock strike bosses with the potential to have unlimited ammo while you do it. I don;t understand why people don;t get this. Hell it's still going to be unique after it gets nerfed, because it will be able to use all it's ammo and stun lock without having to reload.

Exactly. I still think Bungie has something up their sleeves, but on the off chance that they [i]dont[/i], I'm hoping they realize that the upcoming balance changes in 2.0 set the stage [i]perfectly[/i] for them to continue bringing old gear forward.

I love how the exotic upgraded stranger's rifle "no time to explain" has the black hammer's current perk effect, RETURN FKIN AMMO AFTER DEALING PRECISION HITS. sooooo new right?

Exactly. I [i]want[/i] to believe that this new content is going to be amazing, but I can't shake the feeling that even Bungie isn't totally confident in it. [i]Forcing[/i] players to move to the new content doesn't exactly instil confidence. :P
