I for one am glad for this decision, as much as I enjoy my weapons, I want something new to be excited for. I understand why people get so upset over this, and using the house of wolves as an example for weapons is a bad one. Why is that? House of wolves didnt have any raids, they did however bring us excellent weapons with triald which people forget to mention and I know exactly why. They are most useful in pvp. Taken king has been worked on for a long time, and I am sure that they have taken our feed back to heart when making this first real expansion. Which is one of the reasons I think it took so long for house of wolves to come out and WHY it didnt have a raid. Remember that joke of a raid called crotas end? Yeah... everyone complained about it, and how it just felt like a giant strike with six people, and honestly its exactly that. I digress though, do I believe that taken king will be amazing? No... which is sad because it shows you what we expect from this game usually lackluster content, but what I have seen is promising. Not to mention, im just bored, bored of using the same weapons for the same things. I have my set of pve weapons and set of pvp weapons. Yet no one seems to mind the fact that both activites are just so seperate ib their design. Id love to be able to have my "trusty" weapon that I can use in both, maybe they'll do that I taken king. Or it will be the same. Either way, in ready for a change, and more intricate weapon designs than the copy paste sewage weve gotten for the past year. For the pessimistic people that say "well eff that bungie just wants to screw you and me, and they'll give us garbage weapons" I say to you this, if you truly think so negatively about this developer why are you still playing this game? Dont say the usual "oh cause I was stupid enough to buy the season pass" thats not good enough, especially if you have over 80 plus hours in this games. Most games dont even give you half of that. Granted we did grind, and was it fun? No but who here played a pokemon game and ran around in a patch of grass to level up your creatures, who among us ran circles in an rpg to get to the highest level possible before fighting a boss. Again, im ready for change. For better or worse, im excited to know ill be able to get rid of half of the crap in my vault
