Yup, this is my biggest point of argument against their new direction, why would they give us the option in HOW to bring back to life our vanilla weapons only to take them away from us so soon. Their new weapons in HOW suck and vanilla weapons are amazing. Bungie has fallen short, not our ability to identify key weapons and keep them and make them useful against badly made bosses or enemy players

I viewed HoW stuff as an enjoy what left of year 1 type of thing. I have played way too many games where I worked hard for something for it to be weak later on. That how things go and I have no problem with it b/c I enjoyed the journey and will continue to move fwd.

Thats the conclusion ive come to. Its like a gift back to vets to be able to use all our old guns. But that gift being once in a lifetime is what is sad. They give and take away so soon. The messenger is my fav new gun above and beyond vanilla. And I would have wanted to bring it with me
