regarding the armor though, i think i get it now. they said that level progress will be tied to the character and light level system will be taken out. this means, one can still use his/her favorite armor set. or one can equip common or rare armor pieces and still be level 40. armors are now for more aesthetic but of course there's still the perks but it's all up to the players whether they choose the perks of an exotic over the looks of a rare armor piece. i'm still not too sure about this though.
