No, but I know who Delta Force are... And Venom is far, far beyond more powerful than that.

Look up Delta. They aren't worried about Venom. They're worried about what it could become.
-
What what would become? Venom?
-
Yes.
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 8/7/2015 12:48:36 AM
Dude Venom's already at full force, they just don't have any presence here.
-
Yes, but they have a lust for power, something the Elder Gods love, as well as access to items once fielded by Delta Green's founders; the US government. Additionally, Delta watches for extraplanetary threats. Venom, as a PMC, fits that description.
-
Venom's independent from the US. His only ties are to manipulate them and pull political strings. Lust? This is just business capitalism.
-
Dude, trust me. Corruption by the Elder Gods may not be wholly of your own volition. But whatevs! Have fun!

Skips away merrily, on broken, back-bent legs, as head twists 180 and spiders pour from mouth, nose, and eyes. Smiling.
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 8/7/2015 1:07:32 AM
Neither Venom nor Blackjack can be corrupted mentally by ANYTHING. Both have taken super-soldier serums and have insanely powerful minds as-is. They are the equivalent to Psychic Blanks from WH40K. Venom Inc soldiers have also been fitted with a certain chemical dispenser in their respirators that pumps a chemical that allows the mind to resist corruption and manipulation, thanks to a deal between Cobalt Phoenix and Cindot.

Well, then there's no need for me to investigate further.
Edited by Trashcan Jesus: 8/7/2015 1:14:09 AM
Since literally all people ever use is magic, I've taken time to make some counters for it, and to get some lore behind them. Venom isn't a force to be seen as easily thwarted. I intended to make a hard group of guys to -blam!- with, and I've done it. Now keep in mind, they can still be beaten, but chances are, most people aren't tactical enough or don't possess enough force to do it.
-
I've never used magic. I find it annoying.
-
My thoughts exactly.
-
It's just somebody's excuse to do what they want with your characters. Like the shield the Ingus used when I wasted their fleet in the Empire thread. They claimed it was magic, and could block my nuclear torpedoes, so I just teleported boarders on their ships and massacred the crew. It was still super-annoying though.
-
I just shelled the shit out of him when he attacked Edgewater. He couldn't land while being torn up by heavy artillery and AA weaponry.
-
Yeah. Firepower solves everything.
-
Most of the time, yes.
-
so anyway I need sleep now
