It's like somebody gives you a Lamborghini. Then 10 months later they get other cars but you can't use the lambo anymore. Then people tell u to get over it.

No. You buy a Lamborghini....and then 6 months later.....the Raging Bull puts out another car that is faster and handles better. ...and you're mad that they won't pay for making your car just as fast and just as nimble as the one they are selling. So you start insisting that they've "made your car useless". You cant' have a game that is centered around LOOT...if you let people cling to old stuff, rather than encouraging them to go out and get NEW stuff. What you are asking is for Destiny to commit suicide for you.

What happened was, we bought the Lamborghini and within a year a few new models come out that all have been inferior to what we originally bought. So now trust in future vehicles is lost. Now for the tricky part, stay with me here. Lamborghini wants us to get excited about the newest model. So what do they do? The next time our car is in for service, they screw with it to make it perform worse than it did when we fist bought it (nerfs). That, is why people are pissed. Really, why the nerfs right before they become obsolete, if we are getting new "better!?" stuff anyway.

But that not accurate b/c you can still use your gear it just there effective won't be the same. They will still be effective for the content they were made for not the content they were not. It would be like you buy a game console and you love the controller but the company that made it announces that in four months and new console will be arriving with a new style of controller. You get mad saying you want to use the controller you love on the new machine. They tell you can use it if you want too but it won't be as effective for the new machine as it was not design for it. Now your jumping on the forums complaining that it is a slap in the face for not being able to use your old controller on the new machine even though you can.

worse, nobody gave you the lamborghini. you had to spend 90 hour days working to get it and then they said, no you can't use the lambo. where repaving the street. It's still a street, it's flat, cars use it. Just not your car. But if you buy another lambo in a different color, you can drive on this street. For 6 months maybe.Oh and by the way, were nerfing your lambo like you asked so it's easier to steer on city streets. You're welcome. That'll be $300k.
