You're not wrong, weapons obviously won't be useless immediately, just as Vanilla gear was still capable for TDB activities. However, I'm looking at the bigger picture; if Bungie is deciding that, from this point on, gear will [i]never[/i] be intended to last longer than 2-3 months, then players will have to [i]zero reason to care about their gear, anymore[/i]. I'm not trying to blow things out of proportion, I'm just taking a logical look at Bungie's plans for the future of Destiny. I love my gear, and I'd hate to think that all my experiences with future gear will be fleeting. DX
