WHY is Hopscotch Pilgrim so damn popular???
I got it on a strike very early on, with a good roll, tried it out once or twice. The stupid thing sucked mega ass and served its purpose by giving me enough weapon parts to upgrade my MIDA. Why do people like it so much????

I enjoy using The Messenger and Spare Change, but I rarely do Vanguard strikes these days so I haven't gotten Hopscotch yet.

Its because its a two shot head shot like the messenger and you can re roll it to YOUR playstyle.

I have never gotten above 2kd b4 i used hp. Most i got was 19kd in one game. Pure luck but hp had something to do with it. Check out my 3 hp rolls. Lol

Its basically a messenger with 3 more rounds and a little more stability. If the messenger wasn't stable enough

I enjoy mine. Battle runner, braced frame, and head seeker. I can't complain. Disclaimer: I'm not the biggest fan of pulse rifles.

It can have max stability, and I run eighth feeding frenzy and reactive reload, mean after a kill I have 4 seconds where it's a 2 burst kill to the body, and a head shot does 51 damage

I think the 55A-ALLFATE and Coiled Hiss 1919 are better. I have a Coiled Hiss with a pretty great roll on my Hunter.

7 RepliesI really don't know. Everyone's freaking out about the Hopscotch and I'm just sitting here with my Timepiece, KAU8, and Conduit laughing my shader off. Hopscotch/Messenger has higher time-to-kill than other pulse rifles in PvP, objectively it's worse than the ones I mentioned. A KAU8 or Conduit kills in three head bursts faster than a Hopscotch kills in two head bursts- and you can miss a shot or two with the others.

10 RepliesHeadseeker is a wasted perk on the Hopscotch as long as you have a stability upgrade. The roll you want is Feeding Frenzy/Outlaw, a stability upgrade, Reactive Reload. Why people like it? It's the best pulse rifle in the game for PvP.
