And you don't find it frustrating that the weapons that are the most effortless and natural to use, the most versatile, and the most effective across the board.... already made irrelevant once, and saved from irrelevance by ascension... it doesn't frustrate you that Bungie is yanking those incredibly enjoyable, truly fun-to-use weapons away from you [b]yet again[/b]?

Not really, it'd be a pretty boring game playing with the same weapons for 10 years, I'm pretty bored of them now actually

You don't [i]have[/i] to use the same weapons, I would just appreciate retaining the ability to [i]choose to[/i] use the same weapons. Edit: particularly when the newer weapon choices are so exaggeratedly inferior, and just not at all fun to use, at least as far as I am concerned (the exception being 2 of the 3 PoE exotics)

You still can choose to use them, you're just limiting yourself by not choosing the new weaponry.

To be frank, if we never had the ability to ascend gear in the first place, then I wouldn't be so bitter about this.. but the fact that they gave us this option, played it up like crazy, even.... only to immediately turn right around and take it away. That's just -blam!-ing irritating, and another example of poor customer-relations, not to mention foresight and planning.
