Everyone brings up that HoW legendaries are crap ... And the PoE are, but only because they removed the last perk slot in favor of the craptastic shank burn, dreg burn, etc. Yet no one seems to bring up the vendor, crucible, strike, and ToS weapons everyone strives to get ... Despite the fact that old gear can be ascended. Allowing ascension has done nothing to keep people from playing the new game content or trying to acquire new weapons. Nothing. The crappy design of the PoE weapons was the only thing that stifled it at all. So tell me again why it's a bad idea to allow ascension.
