Not a giant, but not bad. Of course, looks aren't everything. "Wake up, kid," Markov growls. "You and I have a few things to talk about." Up above, it starts raining again. Great big drops that splatter around the man. The sky becomes dark, leaving their dank surroundings lit by only neon and the dull, unhealthy orange glow of a street light.
-
The kid snorts as he awakens, startled as heavy rain drops fall on his head. "Ah...? Whaddya want, ya fuçking geezer...?" the kid says drowsily, pawing a sleepy hand at you in a rather sassy "go away" gesture.

Edited by daveyboy_d: 8/8/2015 2:50:33 AMKids. They run their mouths before their brains are even awake. "I'm looking for the toughest, craziest son of a bitch around these parts, kid," Markov says, eyeing the young man under his heavy brows. "It's not you, so where the hell would I find him?"
-
"How the fuçk should I know? I don't know anyone here because everyone hates me."
-
"You're a reject, then," Gregori notes, looking the kid over again. "What did you do to earn that?" Tears from the sky soak into the frayed fabric of his coat, weighing it down. Dirty rain leaks down hands that will never feel again. It drips into puddles as a dull roar starts around them, a cacophony of water coming down from above in a wall of white. All the time, those blue eyes don't waver.
-
"Why the hell do you want to know...?" the kid says, shrugging away from you.
-
(( Updated =) ))
-
"Because I've got a possible job offer," Markov explains. "And some intense dedication to it. A reject works perfectly...assuming you're any good at protecting somebody." And, of course, willing to become a walking bullet sponge.
-
"I'm no good at anything, old man. Now shove off." The kid then gets up and walks quickly out of the alleyway, hands in his pockets.
-
I didn't wait. I leaned back, made the mental adjustments to my prosthetics so they wouldn't kill the kid, and tried to plant a fist in his face. With a blur, Markov's metal fist comes flying in toward the young man's nose before he turns away. "This is an interview," he informs the punk jovially. "I'm here for your resume."
-
The kid falls onto the ground, his nose bleeding. "Ah!" he gasps, "what the fuçk, man?"
-
(( I think one of my posts disappeared. That's okay by me, though! This works well. )) Maybe the kid needed a push to get going. He could walk out of this with a massive life style change, or he could continue to fit in with a society of dregs. "Are you going to whine or do something about it?" Markov asks the kid, reaching to grasp his collar. "Or maybe you'll start answering my questions. "Who's the biggest, meanest man or woman around here? I want a body guard, not some overly toned sissy like you."
-
"I keep telling you man, I don't know anybody for shit! Now get the fuçk off me!" he says, reaching for a small knife in his pocket.
-
Knives hurt. I don't like being hurt. Almost casually, Markov tries to hurl the man into the nearby wall. He slowly opens his coat to reveal the nine-millimeter rifle he took off the police droid. "Let's try to remain civil," he suggests. "Now tell me about yourself."
-
((Lol pointing a rifle at a man to get some words out of him is totally civil)) The kid drops the knife, raising his hands against the wall as his eyes grow wide with terror. He slides down the wall and onto his buttocks, shrinking in fear. "Yo, man... I don't know anyone. I told you already. I'm telling the truth."
-
(( ;) )) "How do you feel about not being a reject any more? To belong?" is the cyborg's next question. He keeps the rifle held low, mostly hidden by his coat.
-
"I honestly don't care... I just don't wanna die..." he whimpers.
-
"Then come with me." Remember what I said about ethics? I suffer from the same disease. Everybody in this city does. Gregori brings the kid back to the bio lab. It's a wet, miserable ride on the tram back.

-
(( I'm guessing this is now closed since there's a new bounty? Is it possible to add a place for previous bounty results? ))
-
((Yeah, it's over. You can still make the guy you were planning to make in the Lab, though.))
-
(( Will a graphene man still count toward the bounty? ))
-
((Nope, it was already completed by Chaos Theory))
-
(( Fair enough. ))
