I've really had enough of these stupid f ing post about, ' I grind x amount of hours getting this weapon' , 'I purchased these weapons' , 'bungie stop telling me how I should play this game'. Get it through you head, you can still use these old ass weapons, no one is making you do otherwise.... If your logic is that every weapon should have the capabilities to be accended to Max level, then should my level 20 starting weapon be allowed to do 365 damage? See how stupid that sound? So continue to have a cry, don't even mention 'oh at least give me an option' no OPTIONS...don't like it great...don't buy the ttk so you will be forever frozen with Max level gear...

Sucky example, bro. My current gear is [i]Legendary[/i] tier, with a level requirement of 20. The new gear is [i]also Legendary[/i] tier, with a level requirement of 20. They should be equally effective.

Actually, you don't know that. The level cap is now 40, most likely making the new weapons a lvl 40 requirement. We'll see though.

If that ends up being the case, it will somewhat change my views, yes. But in an expansion based on simplifying the game mechanics, adding more complexity to the weapon structure would bring me to a whole [i]new[/i] set of issues, haha.
