I've completed my Moments of Triumph.
My friends and I struggled through the Vault countless times to get the gear we needed and weapons we now love. We killed Atheon the right way, because walking him off the ledge like a dog on a leash never felt good. We earned our Fatebringers and Mythoclasts.
We banged our head against the Crota bugs but finally cleared Hard mode CE without cheating the bridge or pulling the plug on Crota to freeze him.
You forced us to split up in HoW for Hard Mode Skolas yet we persevered both with and without the elemental burns.
We ran around finding gold chests, searching for ghosts and grinding for victories in a laggy crucible.
We are Year One Guardians.
Yet our community manager is still not. I just checked his PSN and XBOX LIVE profile. Come on Deej, honor your commitments to the community. Hard mode VOG and CE should take you two hours to complete. Skolas shouldn't take more than an hour or so once you hit lvl cap, which you appear not to be. :/
Invite me to a party if you need a true year one guardian to hold your hand. Oh and Yes, I will be bringing a Gjallahorn to the fight before you take away my trophy.

Deej, if you do happen to read this and choose to accept my invitation, I promise I will not complain to you about the game. I will not suggest this, or talk about fixing that. I won't complain about my gally. It will be only positive friendly conversation. Although I may complain about the weather, since it's been like 90 degrees in the great Pacific Northwest for 60 plus days and I miss the cold, grey rain. :)

Look at all the hate in these posts. You all should be supporting the idea of a more active community manager. Be positive people. I think Deej is doing a good job. I'm not bashing him. I'm both challenging him and offering my help to him.

I'm pretty sure he's a very busy guy. I only just finished skolas a couple weeks back, completing my moments of triumph....because I, you know, have a life and family that come first. Deej gets so much grief, he's the voice of the community, he has a job, hobbies, family and many many other things to do with his life I'm sure.
-
Try living with it being in the 100s then complain about the heat.
-
Same.
-
Honestly I'd rather a manager who is focused more on fixing the game and doing his job than a guy who no life's the game and has no clue what the community is saying. You don't understand his job if you're complaining about this. The Devs are the ones that are actually playing the game a lot to find its flaws. Not the community manager.
-
Does anyone know Luke Smiths account? I'm curious to see how long he's played
-
DeeJ should have his title changed to Community Punching Bag lol.
-
I agree that deej is busy and has other things to do, but it literally takes 30 mins to do crota, and a little longer for vog. He just has to do the 32 poe every week to reach max. That's not too much right?
-
-
Deej doesn't have a Gally. No one wants him on their fire team.
-
This is actually a nice post. Deej deserves some love around here, too many ppl bash him. I think ppl have a hard time grasping he doesn't make these decisions, he's just the messenger
-
I like Deej but one thing he said lately kind of bothered me and is a red flag for bs they are feeding us. He tried to say the fatebringer will be usefull for it's power in the crucible, trying to calm people down with the non ascending of year one weapons. I mean c'Mon you think telling me "oh well it's still gonna be very usefull but only for patrols and in crucible" is gonna make me feel better bout losing my weapons. It's bs, nobody gives a crap about fatebringer for crucible or patrols.

Edited by raj: 8/8/2015 2:08:39 PMI think it's hilarious how some people in this community are so retarded they can't fathom that deej may have a personal, non-public, account so he can play in peace and not be badgered by losers like OP and this will whiny community in general. It's common sense, get some you weirdos.
-
He unlocked one thing tho
a life
Edited by SpaceFmK: 8/8/2015 2:35:46 PMI read this as I was supposed to go hiking in the great northwest and its raining.... Where is the drought when you need it?
-
Not like he has a job or anything to do
-
You be deej and still try to complete the moments of triumph
-
Who cares?!
-
I'm pretty sure he plays the crap out of this game: just not on the builds we play on. We already know he's playing v2.00 based on a tweet this week.
-
Moments of triumph is bs.
-
You could never pull the plug on CE hard mode ;-).
-
People who aren't children understand you don't really want to take work home with you... Last thing dude wants to do after looking at destiny shit for 10 hours a day, is go home to more destiny shit.
-
Who cares? It's an emblem, big whoop.
-
I bet he plays more destiny than most of us. He plays a lot on the test servers - he has talked about it before.
-
Eh? Just as bad with barely 30 raids completed.
-
"Honor your commitments to the community" are you -blam!-ing retarded? He is the community manager, not some mlg try hard, if he does or doesn't complete the triumphs it doesn't matter, he has no commitment to it, I don't know where you came up with that, and if your point is just that you want a community manager who plays just as much as everyone else then you don't understand what his job is, being a top destiny player is not on his job description, he is suppose to be our voice to bungie (regardless if you think he has done a good or bad job, but if we're keeping track, he's been great, if you think otherwise you've probably never filed taxes before) but he isn't supposed to be playing the game 24/7 nor would I want him to
-
Ok so this may be true. And a lot of people are saying stuff like this. Has it ever occurred to you guys that since he is the community manager or whatever of a game and helps design it and is on the bungie team, do u think he may not want to play a game that he worked on?? Maybe he likes playing world of Warcraft, or CoD, or another game?
