"Honor your commitments to the community" are you -blam!-ing retarded? He is the community manager, not some mlg try hard, if he does or doesn't complete the triumphs it doesn't matter, he has no commitment to it, I don't know where you came up with that, and if your point is just that you want a community manager who plays just as much as everyone else then you don't understand what his job is, being a top destiny player is not on his job description, he is suppose to be our voice to bungie (regardless if you think he has done a good or bad job, but if we're keeping track, he's been great, if you think otherwise you've probably never filed taxes before) but he isn't supposed to be playing the game 24/7 nor would I want him to

I'm not starting shit, but his job is more than just being our voice to Bungie. he's also their voice to us. for all intents and purposes, he's a politician
-
That doesn't mean he has to play 24/7
-
oh I wasn't implying that he should
-
And maybe he just isn't good enough to complete those things, that wouldn't hinder him from still being a good manager just cause he isn't good at the game
-
A man is only as good as his word.
-
Is it September 15th yet?
-
Will you still defend him after that date comes and he has not completed the challenges?
-
I wouldn't, but he will though, but definitely won't if he doesn't
-
That's all I wanted to know. I think he will too. I don't think he's terrible at his job, but he could be a lot better.

It doesn't take being a top player to beat the Hard Mode raids. It doesn't even really take being a better than average player. I want a community manager that understands the game fully. Hard mode is a big part of that. It relates to everything. Class balance, weapon balanced, raid difficulty, everything. I understand what his job is and so does he. It's why he accepted the original challenge from another post to complete all year one achievements.
-
He doesn't need to understand that... he has no influence over those things. He just relays messages from players to devs and vise versa. I'd much rather have a competent cm who excels at communication/ PR because you know that's his job than someone who knows all the game balances.
