That goes to everyone, even new players. Do you not think everything you must do in the Triumphs is worth more than just an emblem? There is alot of effort you must put in to the Triumphs to get just an emblem, it is no easy task. It is like beating Atheon on Hard Mode and all he gives you is Ascendant material as your just reward. But I suspose you are fine with just a meaningless reward for all your hard work to get Triumphs completed.

It's not meaningless to me. My friends and I have made fond memories of the first year. Our weapons and gear shows our rewards. I don't need anything else from them. I'm happy.

They need to you collect a new set of weapons because all legendaries will be crap come Taken King. Also that emblem is meaningless as most emblems are.
