Between 2008 and 2014, 40% of all murder convictions in Florida were criminal aliens. In New York it was 34% and Arizona 17.8%.
During those years, criminal aliens accounted for 38% of all murder convictions in the five states of California, Texas, Arizona, Florida and New York, while illegal aliens constitute only 5.6% of the total population in those states.
That 38% represents 7,085 murders out of the total of 18,643
That article above got me thinking: why have rules that you don't enforce? I suppose the immigration laws are to keep criminals out, but why not enforce them then?
I'm from Canada and did some quick research and I found that the rate of murders by illegal immigrants in Texas is very similar to the murder rate in all Canada. Seems like a real problem.
So honest question here: does it bother you American citizens that there are so many illegal immigrants in your country? If it does, what would you like to see done to fix the problem?

We can build a wall like Donald Trump suggests, but that won't actually fix the problem in Mexico or South America. We must wage a war against the drug cartels.
