DId you Cheese your first Raid?
My first Vault of Glass run we cheesed the Templar with the Warlock grenade trick.
My first Crota's end run we cheesed the 2nd bridge and pulled the ethernet cable on Crota.
It wasn't really by choice but just happened that way for me.
I think it would be fun going into the new Raid knowing anything about it and just see what happens.

Nah. First time I ran the Vault we were unaware that there was a cheese mode. Blue fusion rifle, TDYK, and some rocket launcher on my Void walker.

My first cheese was the Templar snipe glitch. My group didn't even know about the push off thing till like 2 weeks after people were using. It was so stupid, I would just sit just go afk each time and 95% of the time it actually took longer to do rather than to just kill him the legit way.

My first VoG back in November, i had no idea what i was doing so i just i just did as i was told. I was told throw grenades at the Templar and that's what i did......... At Crota, again didn't have a clue what i was doing. I was told wipe, so i wiped until i was revived and then sniped.

Just did Crota for first time yesterday. Of course my team cheesed the whole thing...

No cheese as the actual first time we didn't get the doors open to the vault after trying for two hours. Blue and green weapons lol It took us a couple days to farm better equipment but we entered the vault and nine hours later we had beat atheon no cheese

My first vault of glass we did it legit, and not knowing how it worked.... took us nearly 8 hours to complete it, but it was certainly the most fun I have ever had in a game. Crota's end.... haaaa what a disapointment. So full of glitch that you end up cheesing without even trying to (like the self rez at the bridge....). So boring that after the first one we end up glitching the hell out of it anytime we enter it just to get some armor piece to reach max level. And it's still totally glitch nowdays......

Vault of glass we cheesed Templar. Thought that was how it was done until they patched that. Didn't cheese anything on crotas end first go though.

I have cheesed the raids but not on my first raid it was a vog on easy as a full group of 26s, we got to atheon but had to level up then come back to beat him later that week.

Thank goodness no, my first raid was actually pretty difficult. So much fun. Would be a lot easier now that I now so many cheap tactics on the rajds

First raids were legit. After we all learned the cheeses there was never a need to do it legit ever again.

1 ReplyIm a firm believer in no cheese first runs. After that, if its there why not. Ill never forget the "do you think we can make it to that platform" before templar discussion. Then the hours of seeing who could grab relic and get back. Oh vog, how do i wish i could experience it for the first time blind on launch night again.

You have to voice your opinion better! Let them know That They have to do it legit. If They give bs excuses like "i don't have time" than just say -blam!- you we're doing this legit or we're not doing this At all.

The only cheesing I've ever done in vault is sniping the oracles from up top. I cheese the hell out of Crota though.

I cheesed atheon my first time... I'm not proud of it. It took me a while to learn hiw to do it legitly. Same with Crota...

First time Atheon Normal and Hard No. First time Crota Normal and Hard No. Almost every single time on them all since... Yes.

First run on Vog normal and hard no. First time on Crota normal and hard no. Since then, cheese one way or another. Although my thought is that if it is in game, it's legit or they should fix it.

Vault of glass took me over the first week to complete. Me and my fireteam didn't know wtf to do during oracles/Templar/gatekeeper/atheon Miss those days of being a raid noob.
