No sir, they are not. They disagree with the core doctrine of Christianity, they have added and taken away from the bible, and almost all of their sacraments and religious practices are completely opossed to the teachings of Jesus.

That's quite an opinion. But that's all interpretation. Catholicism is the original church of Christ, and God/Christ are the center of their worship.

Non of it is opinion. And there were churches in Corinth, Ephesus, and Jerusalem before Catholicism.

You do realize that that article makes my point even clearer? Just because they use some of the same words doesn't make it Christian. Veneration of Mary is idolatry, Pope is an idol, the pope being and intercessor between us and God (Christ is our only intercessor), purgatory, mass as a way to aid in salvation, the apocrypha, Peter was never appointed to be the head of any church...

They still believe in Jesus and God therefor are Christians and they don't take away from the bible or add to it. The book of Mormon is just another testament of Jesus Christ

Sorry, no. The Jesus worshipped by Mormons is not the same Jesus as in the bible. And the book of Mormon is passed off as an inspired text, so it is adding to the bible. Plus they disregard many of the bibles teaching, I.e. taking away from.
