Yup. Most of the deaths are. And it's because of a dispute within Islam.

It was never about showing the world their religion. It was fighting between themselves to find what system of leadership would take place in Islam after Muhammad had died.

I agree. The killings over a dispute like this is wrong but sadly I don't think anything can stop it.
