The attendant returns, but is soon engaged with a young woman who's recently arrived.

[b]He gets up and walks over there and waits for the woman to stop talking to the attendant. [/b]

The attendant directs the woman to her room, then returns. [i]Will you be looking for a room as well, sir?[/i]

[i]Nobody knows, sir. He was a powerful good man. Never smoked, only drank small, and was awful good to me and mine. Three factories he owned out of here, and he gave gifts to all and sundry on the holidays. Chased out the lawbreakers, too. Odd thing is, the constabulary can't do for much in finding him. Not a shred of paper or of anything that could be found. Just up and gone.[/i]
