I'm heavily convinced they removed it from the game for me. I have played easily over 200 strikes in the last week, grinding for hours and hours, trying new things during the strike to get it to drop. While playing, I haven't seen one person drop it. I have dropped every single legendary gun at least 3 times EXCEPT the hopscotch pilgrim. Some people are saying that it can drop from the PoE 28 small chest, but I grinded that for hours and got nothing, just wasted a lot of keys and time.
Also, is there a specific thing that you have to do to get it? I heard that your chances of getting legendary gear are better if you don't die during a strike. Is this true? Can someone confirm this?

I have heard the best legendary chances go to the person with the most kills in the strike

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 8/10/2015 9:35:51 PMNo way. Most of the ones I see go to the shittier people. I did a strike a couple hours ago and a guy entered right as we killed tanniks (don't know how it's spelled). Not only did he not have any kills, he didn't even have an assist. He ended up with legendary armor and a legendary engram, while the other two of us got blue shit.

Still on the search for mine but sadly im on my 637th dragon strike, ive only seen one drop. Its starting to make me discouraged it even exists anymore.

It took me about 200 strikes... I think it might be easier if you just pick a couple of strikes that you can do really fast and only do those.

I did over 300 strikes in the last month and just got it yesterday. There are no tricks to increase the drop rate. I've seen 5 drop for others before I got mine and all scenarios were completely different.

Damn dude ): I guess I'll have to do like 100 more haha. I don't think I'll have enough time to enjoy it in PvP before the Taken King though. It was worth a try, I wish I heard how good it was before hand.

Normal crucible will still be an even playing field so it should still be good for a while anyway.

Edited by Calculus-Entropy: 8/10/2015 4:13:35 AMNothing helps... I tried everything. I stopped counting at like 255. Easily ran 100 more before I saw the first one drop to a dude who spawned in at Phogoth and got 5 kills. Got mine 2 days later at Dust Palace (one guy bailed at start, we 2 manned it the whole way, I died once, other dude died a few times). After grinding endless hours you start trying stupid stuff out of boredom. I decided to; -wear the shader they always seem to give you -instantly delete the legendaries that are part of the same group as HP -keeping each one of those legendaries on my character as I played or in the post office -wearing the Vanguard class item they always seem to drop for you in the dragon strikes -having the most kills -having the least kills -falling in the middle on kills -generating the most orbs -generating no orbs -not using heavy packs -not using Gjallarhorn -...lol It sounds stupid but run 100 strikes and then talk to me. You start to think you can "influence" RNG because it refuses to drop for you and it drives you insane. I did hear many people say they got it spawning in late on a map, but that's something you can't control. I finally stopped my multi-hour grinds and decided to just sit down and run them till my first legendary weapon drop, then try later. Good luck, in the end it's worth every bit of the grind!

Lol I found myself doing a lot of the same.

Played about 10 strikes. Me and a buddy got one. The third guy who wanted it didn't.

I feel bad for u one day I said "I'm goin hunting for that hopscotch pilgrim people are talking about" Got it on my 3rd strike; archon priest

Me and some friends had so many destiny myths that we have disproven over the last year. One in particular was getting the last bullet into final boss. My friend to this day still believes this gives you better rewards even though we have disproven it multiple times.

The Destiny Gods are a bunch of assholes. Surely Shrek will serve them the justice they deserve.

[quote]The Destiny Gods are a bunch of assholes. If you got specific rewards for doing specific things, to me, that's takes all the fun out of it. Having said all that it still drives me cra cra that I haven't yet acquired everything I want.

Nothing increases ur chances, believe me, I tried. In the end it took me around 280 strikes to get HP...
