After lvl 20
Once I hit lvl 20. Whats the fastest way to get the PVE gear and light levels? Sorry If I sound stupid.

Vanguard strikes are the quickest way to get to level 32. After that you will need to run the level 32 prison of elders.

What LeMerbels said. As well, if you try to do those mission bounties with heroic modifiers, some decent engrams may drop with +light stats... and if you happen to be in the favor of the RNG gods that day, legendary engrams may drop.

You're best running the highest-tier Strike Playlist you can and then purchase Vanguard Gear, this combined with some maxed rare should get you to 30 then you can run Crota which'll give you Light-36 Armour
