Sounds like something from Fallout.... Andrew best friend and mentor was killed protecting him (taking one of Andrew's falls), and Andrew blames himself constantly for his mentors death (Henry Silryte was his mentor), he decided he would fight in his mentors name. Which is why his name is Andrew Silryte.
