The only time I want to leave a raid is after I've defeated the boss.
And hopefully gotten a decent drop.
Or if it's a horrible team:
Once I joined with some randoms, you could tell that a couple were in the same room, they were all friends and just needed a sixth, which ended up being me. We were in orbit waiting for everyone to stop messing around and get on the game. While they were messing around and arguing about beer, they were wearing their headsets and shouting. They all sounded drunk and were total dudebros. I think they were all in the same frat or something. They kept talking about beer, going to get more beer, and how the beer that they had wasn't cold yet. This guy was being totally obnoxious talking about how his friend needs to put the beer in the fridge and wouldn't shut up about needing cold beer to raid. They were so annoying.
So I said:
"If you want to get your beer as cold as possible, wrap some wet paper towels around each can or bottle, put them in the freezer for about 10 minutes, and then take them out and drop them in a bucket of ice and saltwater. You want them to be fully submerged in the water. They will get cold super fast, and the saltwater with ice in it will keep them cold for a long time. Also, I am not going to raid with you guys, bye."
And then I left the party.
