(Andrew can lockpick, hack computers, fight in hand-to-hand combat, can fight with a sword and is also pretty good with jumping and climbing. Kai just uses his powers to do all that. No effort is made... Heres what Andrews day would have been if he was a Psion-

Kai can do all of that, with powers. He's a master martial artist, anyone can lock pick or do any of your "amazing" fallout skill tree. His charisma is higher than Andrews. You can't hack, unless you're a hacker. Even Hickory specifically said that. [spoiler]i was kidding about the charisma[/spoiler]

Its not from fallout.. Those are real skills in real life as well. Lock-picking and hacking are skills. Lock picking requires steady-hands and patience. Hacking requires the right gear and a reasonably smart person.
