I feel you. This is my first MMO-Type game. I think I'd be happy using my original guns in all new content. That being said, I am excited about the prospect of new guns, as long as they have better perks than dreg or shank burn. I think it would've been more sensible for them to phase them out over time, as oposed to cutting them off basically immediately.
