You just don't seem to realize we don't need to be using the same gun for TEN YEARS! So if cod and halo used the same exact guns for every franchise you would be okay? NOPE. people will just bitch about anything because they can. Don't like it? DONT PLAY! It's pretty simple....

  • They aren't THAT different... Three round burst for them all, halo 3 you had to lead your shots, halo 2 there was the glitch... Halo 4 no shot lead needed, and halo 5 Idk.

Absurd. First, who's arguing I must have Fatebringer a decade from now? This is Year Two, coming off a period of constant retooling, from the ridiculous amounts of materials we originally needed to gather to constant weapon and armor rebalancing. I'm a developer and understand all-too well we are a beta test community Bungie occasionally even admits. Second, humanity is steeped in naming swords, guns, ships... It's in our nature to personify our tools. Imaginary societies that ignore this risk irrelevance. Customization is key to longevity in games like this. This isn't about holding on out of romantic nonsense. House of Wolves gear is much less useful than expected, unless you believe trading perks like "chance to do extra damage to Shanks" is an improvement to Crowd Control or Hidden Hand. I'd argue weapons like the Aegis of Kells are doomed to dismantling because of such limited usefulness and shows arrogance about how we EACH wish to play. Let the new gear compete and find their place in our armory, or be forgotten, rather than have US conform to some ever-changing notions in the disdainful mind of Bungie designers.
