Destiny 101 Tower Vendors

Any vendor that sells anything on the Tower can be found below. I will give brief descriptions of where these vendors can be found. All directions will start from the space where you spawn into the area. +++ TOWER +++: Split into 4 main section, the Courtyard in the center (where you spawn in), the Hanger off to the right, the Speakers Chambers to the left, and the Special Event area in the back (only open during limited time event, is otherwise closed off). Bounty Tracker: The Bounty Tracker gives out daily bounties and takes any you have to turn in. Keep in mind that daily bounties do not have to be completed the day you acquire them, you can hold onto daily bounties and turn them in anytime you want. The Bounty tracker can be found towards the back of the Courtyard, standing in front of a large monitor. Vault Access: You can access your Vault from any of the terminals attached to any of the 3 vault towers in the Courtyard. Your Vault is universal for all of your characters, anything you store in the Vault can be accessed by any of your characters. The Vault access towers are towards the center of the Courtyard, just opposite to the large triangular building. Cryptarch: The Cryptarch sells low level engrams and will also decode any higher level engrams you find. Every time you decode an engram at the Cryptarch you gain reputation with him. Acquiring ranks beyond level 3 will award you with free engrams of at least blue rarity or higher. The Cryptarch stands off to the right of the Courtyard, just before the hall to the Hanger. Gunsmith: Selling low level weapons, ammo synthesis, and telemetries the Gunsmith resides in the back-right corner of the Courtyard. You can also reforge Legendary weapons at the Gunsmith to change their perks. Reforging a weapons perks will reset all upgrade progress made on it. Postmaster: The Postmaster is your friendly robotic mailbox. Anytime you receive a rank up package it will be stored here until you pick it. If you finish an activity but failed to pick up any rare or legendary engrams they will be sent to the Postmaster labeled under "lost items", so don't freak out, you won't miss out on any of the good stuff. Any and all other packages that may be sent to you will also appear here, for example if Bungie decides to give you a free gift. The Postmaster can be found directly ahead of where you spawn in, on the right side of the triangular building. Special Orders: Are you a Beta player? Or maybe you got some special stuff from pre-ordering a DLC? Any sort of special item like that can be bought and re-bought from the Special Orders vendor. Special Orders can be found on the front side of the triangular building, facing out towards the Traveler. Vangaurd \V//: Each of the 3 Vanguard mentors sells low level armor for their respective class. If you belong to their class they will also offer Legendary armor. In order to purchase legendary armor from the Vanguard you must have reached at least rank 2 with the Vanguard. There is also a 4th vendor, the quartermaster, who sells weapons, rare sparrows, and planet materials. You must be at least rank 3 with the Vanguard to buy weapons. You can increase your rank with the Vanguard by turning in Vanguard daily bounties, completing strikes, and by completing patrol missions. Anytime you rank up with the Vanguard, after reaching rank 3, you will be awarded with a Vanguard package at the Postmaster which can contain legendary items from their stock. All 3 mentors can be found by going down the stairs in the middle of the Courtyard and walking straight to the back room. The Vangaurd quartermaster can be found in the Hanger, to the far right. Crucible >x<: Just like the Vanguard the Crucible Handler, Lord Shaxx, will sell armor to Guardians who have reached rank 2 in the Crucible. The Crucible quartermaster will also sell weapons, rare sparrows, and planet materials to rank 3 Crucible combatants. You can rank up with the Crucible by completing Crucible matches and by turning in Crucible daily bounties. Anytime you rank up in the Crucible, after reaching rank 3, you will be awarded with a Crucible package at the Postmaster which can contain legendary items from their stock. Both the Crucible quartermaster and Lord Shaxx can be found by going down the stairs in the center of the Courtyard, in the first room before you reach the Vanguard. Tower Factions /_\ (7') |FWC : There are 3 factions that reside on the tower, New Monarchy (NM), Dead Orbit (DO), and Future War Cult (FWC). These factions require Crucible marks to buy their wares, however you must rank up with each faction to be able to do so. To rank up with a tower faction you must wear a faction class item while obtaining Vanguard and/or Crucible reputation. Example, let's say I have some daily bounties to turn in at the Bounty tracker, some Vanguard some Crucible. I'm also wearing a Dead Orbit class item. When I turn in those bounties instead of getting Vanguard and Crucible rep, I will get DO rep. You can also get faction rep by completing activities that award Vanguard and/or Crucible rep, like Crucible matches or strikes. Anytime you rank up with a faction, after reaching rank 3, you will be awarded with a faction package at the Postmaster which can contain legendary items from their stock. The New Monarchy representative stands in a clearly NM controlled area of the Speaker's Chambers. The Dead Orbit representative hides among shipping crates on the left side of the Hanger. The FWC representative resides in a VIP lounge at the highest point of the Hanger, up the stairs to the Shipwright and up more stairs in the back. Shipwright: The Shipwright sells ships and sparrows. She will also constructs rare ships if you find any blueprints. The Shipwright can be found up the stairs in the Hanger. Outfitter: Need a new look? You can buy shaders and emblems from the Outfitter over in the Speaker's Chambers. She stands in a small hallway to the right of the entrance to the area, U-turn into it. Eris Morn: Eris is the main quest giver for the Crota's End DLC, you'll be required to visit her throughout it's campaign. Eris provides daily bounties that can be used to gain rep with her faction. Eris's faction can only be ranked up to 4, each rank unlocks more of the items in her shop for purchase which includes, emblems, shaders, class items, and some special materials. Lord Saladin: The Iron Banner handler, he only appears when the Iron banner (a limited time event) is active. Every time the Iron banner comes around your rank is reset to 0. Ranking up with the IB (5 max) will allow you to purchase special IB armor, weapons, shaders, and emblems. Saladin provides daily IB bounties that can help you rank up faster. Wearing any IB emblem, shader, and/or class item while acquiring IB rep will boost the amount of rep you get. These boosts stack so wearing all 3 will grant a better boost then just 1 or 2. You can buy something called a Tempered Buff from Saladin to greatly increase your IB rep gains for 24 hours. This buff can only be bought once per event and becomes more useful towards the end of the Destiny week (least effective on Tuesday, most effective on Monday). He can be found in the Special Events area of the tower. Destiny 101 Full List https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/139731825
