Learn the difference before your uneducated brain tells you to type something on the internet.
-
But there's no difference to learn.
-
I guess you can't teach kids everything. Good luck with your Taco Bell job.
-
My what?
-
It's an expansion, similar to WoW
-
So was TDB, and HoW. It's all DLC.
-
Tdb was disc locked content and HOW was tweaked a bit
-
Irrelevant.
-
TDB and HoW were add ons to the vanilla game, TTK is acting like its own game instead of just adding to the new game. It's not worth fighting over something as unimportant as whether or not TTK is DLC or not so I don't want to start any sort of argument
-
You can play TTK without owning a copy of Destiny?
-
There's a difference?
-
There is but there's no difference in dlc and an expansion because an expansion can be downloaded content. The difference is in the downloaded content The House of wolves and The dark below where more map packs than an expansion. An expansion usually contains whole new never before seen massive areas a whole lot of new weapons armor and other cool stuff. Which the first 2 dlcs failed to provide...if any of this makes sense? I just started rambling at the end sorry.
-
Yes there is a difference. TTK is an expansion as I adds more content that TDB and HoW put together. It will have dlc's for it later. This is similar to how WoW does it as someone else stated. For those that think it is dlc, they are just under-educated kids that are mad because their moms won't buy it for them.
-
Ugh. I'm a grown ass man. Also, DLC in my experience has been only new maps, maybe guns, but mostly maps. DB and HoW were more than maps and guns. There's a whole world of non-WoW folks out there who have used the same language (DLC vs Expansion) and they are largely interchangeable. Mass Effect had expansions, they were just about what Destiny did in year one. But I'd still be fine calling them DLC as I am calling them expansions. It's a very very minute point.
-
I can't tell if you're replying to me or him.
-
Not you, but to, thearchaic :)
-
Kid, it is DLC by definition.
-
Literally your giving me cancer. And diabetes. And aids. That's how dumb what you just said is.

Edited by Demagogue: 8/11/2015 4:55:34 AMGood, your unoriginal ass deserves it.

Nope.
-
Yeah, gotta call nonsense on this comment.
-
I've gotta call out a kid with this comment.

Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition is perfect for new and existing Guardians that are ready to jump into the Destiny universe or continue to carve their legend in the stars. The Legendary Edition features the complete Destiny experience including The Taken King, the next evolution in the Destiny universe, Destiny, Expansion I: The Dark Below and Expansion II: House of Wolves. Unite with 20 million Guardians in the fight to defeat Earth’s enemies, reclaim all that we have lost, and Become Legend. Dude. They are pretty much interchangeable. Bungie refers to the previous things you label as, obviously DLC, expansions. They're the same thing. Get off it bruh. Elevate the discourse. This is a minute and non-point to be fussing about.
