He would bring viewers. But his stance on casual gamers not belonging in Destiny isn't that great for someone who wants to represent Destiny and bring more players in.
Planet Destiny guys have a more informative approach compared to Datto's. Both would work, but I would prefer the guys from Planet Destiny. Since they had Trip for crucible last time, why not Ms5000 or other crucible based youtubers this time?
Though the least possible, Hutch has had some interesting videos. I'd definitely watch it then.

Ms5000w would really be a poor choice, more so when you contrast that to your view on Datto. Agreed about Planet Destiny of course, of which, Datto is apart of, is he not!?

I think he is. But Datto's channel is more about challenges and geared towards the elitist community. I just get the feeling that he himself is geared to that as well. As for Ms5000, that's the only other name I know of in the comp community. You should know that I don't look for that kind of Destiny content. Then again most youtube Destiny content, outside of mechanic analysis, seems boring to me.

I feel like if Ms5000 was on a bungie stream the twitch chat would just be filled with sexist comments again. The incident with the Dames was probably because of a female only clan, though, a kind of clan Ms5000 is not affiliated with.

Yep, the shortfalls of having the majority of the community being 14 year old boys. Though a focus on more of the PvP community is needed if they show off anything PvP wise. It encourages people to watch the said persons channel, which could drive intuitive discussions.

Edited by bLooM_pHaZe: 8/11/2015 11:24:41 PMYes I'm more into the lore of the game as well as the mechanics and a lot of the strategies. Even though Byf talks a lot about the lore of the game, I find him to be a bit of a raging twat and more then try hard intellectual.
