Have you moved schools before, bought a new car perhaps? You see these are all "the same thing" remodelled to look new but they all do one basic thing.. yes? so similar with weapons in destiny... An auto rifle may have the same stats as another one but it would look different or have a new name. In the end they both are the same thing just a different "skin"
