I feel like I'm the only other person who has played an mmo besides destiny ever. This is a standard thing that happens in every mmo so why shouldn't destiny do it

Well depends on the raid you did. Like in WoW, in panda land me and some bros messed up Garrosh pretty good on heroic 25m. The gear level for that raid was about 570 I think? Now come Warlords 570 green gear was for lvl97s I think... What I'm basically trying to say is you're awesome gear will still be applicable for a time UNTIL you find a piece that has better stats
