One of my friends recorded a game of this happening to him, i have experienced this every single day when i play trials lately.
I think that lag-switchers should be banned permanently from all PvP content to make trials fun and playable.

as of this moment 280 ppl have seen this thread and voted permaban, because they are incredebly frustrated by the cheaters. and 48 cheaters have in a panic/fear pressed the temporary ban, just in case they will get caught. well maybe 1 or 2 of them just have shitty connection and fear the ban hammer, but im pertty sure that bungie can distinguish.

My friend was laggy in trials and made the whole match leggy every single one of them. Although not every match it was him we had a couple enemies lag out horribly. But mainly my friend like when he lagged into a wall and all the enemies just sat down around him after shotgunning and somehow I got revived and got my team mate and as won. But I do believe it was just Delayed by lag. I reported him though cuz it wasn't really fair.

I honestly don't give a $#!t about ToO anymore. The lag has made it unplayable and even the Lighthouse gear will be worthless with TTK. PoE is the same way.

I don't care about trials anymore, reason 1 is cheaters an 2 is that almost every single game I have gone into all you would see is Thorn and shoot guns so I've gone 9-0 about 10 times but I couldn't care about going 9-0 anymore, it feels like a chore just to go for 5-8 wins.

2 RepliesPersonally I think the game should always watch your connection state. And Drop you from the game if you even touch what bungie calls a red connection. This needs to be done for all games as well. I'm tired of games catering to the shit Internet kids....

Same BS happens all the time. I guesd Bungie banning some people made an impression. lmao. All the cheaters are laughi g at bungie. They get a temp. ban, so what. Does there gear get stripped? The question is will Bungie ever do anything besides a few feel good bans to try and make people happy. Doesn't cause we still see so much of cheating and crappy connections that give so.e an advantage. It is amazing how many red bar people with bad connections are numbet 2 on the score board.

Personally I have zero tolerance for people cheating. So if a first time offense was punishable by a perma ban I certainly wouldn't shed a tear. But I guess I wouldn't care a first time offense was a temporary ban, Bungie gives them a warning saying "hey do it again and it's a permanent ban" and if they still try to cheat, then give of the perma hammer. That's more than generous enough. There no need to cheat on a game, especially when it's DIRECTLY ruining other customers/players experience.

2 RepliesWhats with the extremes man? I say temporary bans that get progressively longer until permanent ban. I.E.: 1st one is a month, second one is 3 months, 3 time you get a permanent band. Voted temp btw.

Trials is even worse. when heavy ammo drops or they got super its the same shit.. they cant be killed and they teleport around. I cannot understand why they are making more pvp maps, but dont fix the real issue. imo destiny is by far the game with the WORST!! netcode ive ever seen.. no other game ive ever played the past 10-15 years, ive experienced lag like this.. im at 100mbit connection, so its not at my end. plz bungie fix this shit... who the -blam!- care about more maps, if pvp is a broken as it is now. Worst part is the Lighthouse chest isn't even all that. My clan goes every week and really no exotic drops lately. How many solar Jewels could 1 guardian need? I think the penalty should be severe. This is Clearly A Choice To Cheat. No question. Therefore: 1 month Destiny all activity ban for 1st offense. Permanent console ban afterwards.
