It was severely over-used in PvE. Why use anything else if you can have infinite ammo with a powerful shot everytime?

Because icebreaker is an exotic and has a cool down

It is getting a nerf. It is only, what, 12 bullets per minute (from an empty charge). It has less impact than a black hammer. Wait for the shots. As opposed to shooting constantly. And most importantly, its an exotic.

Yes but its an exotic. Exotics should do something weird or powerful. You can have Black Hammer and, oh, let's say, Gjallarhorn equipped. Can't do that with Ice Breaker.

All excotics have bad perks only good ones was ice breakers and gjallys wht ypu do with perk aiming this weapon incercased it range when you can have legendary wht have better stats and same perk or this weapon make you little bit faster.. this weapon have chance of healing you..

But the ammo has a few seconds recharge time. Rather than a continuous barrage of infinite ammo with no reload or nothing. Plus exotics are meant to be op, legendaries not as much. As long as you ignore all his valid points you pretend his argument is next to nothing but that kind of makes you an idiot.

This. You can continually unload on a Boss with the hammer as long as you crit them and most bosses aren't that hard to do that on. Ice breaker you might be able to get 8-10 shots steady but will find yourself firing at an incredibly slow pace to keep from going empty. Black hammer you can put 30 shots into a boss in the same amount of time. I loved Ice Breaker, have one on each character. I haven't touched it since I got the Black Hammer about a month ago, actually I did, I used it to regen ammo during a nightfall since I was out of special and then switched to my black hammer to do the job. It's more of an exotic that Ice breaker is and with the same burn its a better choice.
