Have you seen the 2.0.0 patch notes? They [i]are[/i] balancing gear out, specifically by nerfing the perceived "OP" weapons (like Fatebringer, Ghorn, Blackhammer, Thorn, Last Word,etc.), as well as balancing out all the classes in general.
