Why is it up to Bungie to decide what I consider boring? If I want to keep using my old weapons, I should get to. If you want to use new ones, go ahead. But forcing us to delete old ones because they'll be weaker and we'll have no choice is BS. The perks on the new ones that drop from HoW suck compared to old weapons. That's why we're still using the old stuff. They're rolling the dice at giving us shitty new weapons but just making the attack value higher. Going from good weapons to crappy weapons is boring to me.

Why don't you people understand the part of "MMO style" gameplay yes it's not really an MMO per say but it is design to be similar. Take in WOW for instance every expansion makes old gear useless up to a certain point. And before you say that this is not WOW, I'm only referring to the style of the game. The fact is that it's gonna be this way and you complaining about it won't change that fact. It's simple if you don't wanna play, then quit. Don't even bother posting about it, cause none of us or bungie will lose any sleep over it.

So in MMO's they force you to exchange quality weapons for crappier ones by upping the attack value on the crappier weapons? Wow, that sucks. The new perks on the HoW weapons suck. Not our fault Bungie shot their wad on the originals. Why not up the attack on the ones we have now? This ain't WoW. You can only do so much with firearms.

Well obviously everything is eventually gonna be repetitive or reskinned that comes with any game. And not all MMO expansions are useless upgrades. It's just that bungie is new at this so they make mistakes. And I'm in no way a bungie fanboy, I hate them as much as I like them. But all I see in this forum is always whining over and over. Like this is a 10 year gameplan. You didn't really expect that they would keep the same weapons from the very beginning relevant did you? And let's say you complain about how the games won't add diversity because they force you to change. Well it's not like it changed any with the addition of etheric lights. People still use the same guns over and over again. While they maybe the best guns to use, who to say they won't be making an even better gun? Just be patient and wait. If you don't like how the game turns out, then quit, that's all there is to it. Stop whining about it jeez.

Bungie created these forums claiming they wanted to hear what we wanted and what we to had to say about the game. They invited the "whining" so they're gonna hear people say they don't want their old weapons neutered. We already waited to see what the new HoW weapons would bring and they suck. You're suggestion that we just quietly sit back and wait for more sucky weapons is foolish. And don't defend Bungie by saying they're new at all this. You honestly think they live in a bubble and have no idea what has and hasn't worked for other games? There's no need for a learning curve. And to say if you don't like it just quit. Why? I was perfectly happy with Destiny gameplay but they are making it worse. Why should I just accept they they're potentially ruining a great game I enjoy when they invite me to let them know what I think? Do you see how you make no sense? If butthurt players can force them to ruin great exotic weapons, we should be able to at least urge them not to ruin legendaries we like. They gave us etheric light to allow us to keep out oldies. Now they want to take that away because the new, stronger ones suck. And according to you, we should just quietly sit back and wait for more? Sorry, makes no sense. A smart businessperson's 10 year plan already has the first 3 or 4 locked in. Failure is winging it before you even get to year 2.

Well you're complaining about weapons that hasn't even come out yet? How the hell do you know that they are awful? And yes you do have a damn choice whether to play this game or not. You may like it, love it, or hate it you have a choice to not play the damn game. But we all know you're gonna play it anyway. Yes HOW weapons are terrible I'm aware of this. But that's not what I'm referring to about waiting, you're bitchin about weapons that hasn't even come out yet. And yes bungie made this forums to hear about opinions of the community, but that doesn't mean that everyone just whines and whines, I mean he'll go ahead and voice your opinions but do it in a manner in which you don't come out as an entitled 12 year old. Yea you purchased the game, you have a right to play it and so does everybody who bought it, just because you bought doesn't mean that you have the right to say what's good or not about the game. Bungie is a big ass company that I understand and I'm sure they know what works and don't work. But at least you see them trying, but you know what gamers are the most greediest bunch of people out there and that's including me in there. We all want something our way. But you know what we all can't have everything we want. No matter what bungie does its gonna upset someone, someway or another. All I'm saying is that why can't you all wait to see how this new expansion turns out before bitching about it. I mean unless you've played it, you have no room to talk and I don't either. Instead of expecting bad things, expect good things, because we all know whether you agree with what's going to happen you're gonna buy the game and play it. So why can't you have patience and see how this new expansion turns out. And I'm with you I love this game, one of the only games I play anymore.
