No One Cares If You're A Day One "Vet"
Literally no one. It means nothing. It's a title. Get over yourself and stop thinking you deserve things more than other people.
(I'm a day one player and it means nothing to me.)
Edit: You're not entitled to free items just because you bought the game before other people. So stop making petitions galore for them. Grow up.
Edit 2: By year 1 I mean "vets" as they call themselves. Also known as the people who think they're entitled to free stuff.
Edit 3: Most Year 1 Guardians don't know how to read edits.
Edit 4: They're still figuring out how to read, maybe one day.
Edit 5: Nearly 400 replies of pure salt. I feel like the Dead Sea.
Edit 6: Nearing 500 replies. Titans had to put up a new wall around the Dead Sea to contain all the salt water.
Edit 7: At 700 replies the Dead Sea salt levels are beginning to drop. Several life forms with the inability to read have been found in the Sea. The Titans have decreased the amount of control on the Sea.
Edit 8: 800 replies and Guardians still haven't read the tags. What a sad time it is.
Edit 9: At 950 replies the salt is beginning to corrupt the hearts of those who reply. Some keep the light strong in themselves and are able to resist it. However, others have fallen victim to it. Those who have fallen now search for anything to try and be correct. The Titans have now put the city on lockdown. More information later on.
Edit 10: This post has been necrobump'd. The Salt has nearly taken control over everyone, fight back, Guardians.

Agree completely. Who in their right mind honestly thinks they are special or should be entitled to stuff just because they bought a game a few months before someone else? It's downright -blam!-ing pathetic

Does it really matter? Year 1, Day 1, Founder, Beta, Kinderguardian, Squeaker, Noob, and the others I've missed... We are all Guardians and we are in this together and WE should be in this united!

It's a big relief to have someone at your side that understands you. 20 RepliesOkay, I read the whole thing, including the 6 edits. I'm a day one player, been here since the alpha. I have yet to see a petition asking for us to get free stuff. Nor have I seen any thread about us thinking we deserved it. I HAVE seen threads about new players complaining because they don't have Gjallarhorns, or Icebreakers, or Thorns, etc... And then calling the day 1 players elitists because most of us don't want to hear their crybaby story on how they think they deserve it. [spoiler]If you've been here since day one, and you don't have every exotic yet, that's your fault, and we all know it.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesOnly thing remotely close to this that I've seen would be the few that have asked for an alpha emblem like the two beta ones and i have to agree, since alpha was harder to get into. I also see the logic in not having one, since we were chosen for alpha and having an emblem would exclude others that weren't as lucky. I'm going to take a guess here that you're salty about something and chose this pointless argument to vent over ?

4 RepliesThis goes out to op. Why can't I just take pride in something? Why is it not okay to celebrate something. No one may explicitly care if I am a day oner. Implicitly people do care, as evidence by asking for help. A day one player that is still playing probably knows the best methods on how to do vault of glass. Guarantee if a bunch of new players, come ttk, try to do Vault by themselves they will fail and they will turn to day one advice. Day one players were also the first to conquer Crota and everyone looked to them for advice and strategy. So yes people will appreciate the day one player just not explicitly like you expect. So again why are you explicit speaking out against being a day one player? Why don't you take pride in things you have done and I will take pride in the shit I have done.

9 RepliesNo one is asking for free stuff all they want is to have something that said you a BETA player. Now for new people is super easy to get to max level they don't know how hard it was to get max lv before, they got no idea how pain in the azz was to go farming for materials to upgrade your guns and your armor. That's why people want something. ( title - shader) so new people know those are the players that had to actually put time in to get to max lv.

Same here. I don't care that I was here day one in the sense that it makes me better than others, because it doesn't. I'll always be happy to be a day one player, though. What I find funny about vets thinking that they're hot shit is that [i]most people who play this game are vets.[/i] Lmao

Not asking for free stuff but an option to just buy expansion for like 50 bucks and get special content would be nice as it stands our only option is to get the legendary 80 dollar edition to get the cool limited stuff
