I am not some zealot, but I do see a lot wrong with your position. This is one of those times I side with bungie (even if they say it to cover their arse). Year 1 players built the foundation of destiny, anything relevantly good about the game is there because the community thus far.
a lot of people just look at the negative or the things that were patched/balanced/nerf that effects them personally. Without all these individual (be it selfish) voices collectively ringing, Destiny would be the same shattered game it would be at launch.
Unfortunately this wasn't the genre defining or genre creating game we were sold, but it will be someday. hopefully. Bungie should have a decent idea how to make shooter/adventure games by now (halo) but it's those who play that provide the basis of change for those who will. So before you say supporting a game in it earliest stage is meaningless just take a step back first and evaluate whether you want to be part of the change, the problem, or not part of it at all.
