I thought agnostic follows nothing and doesnt have a belief on how the world was created and atheists follow what appears to make sense(science)? Am I wrong?

Well there's agnostic atheist and agnostic theist both are open to new evidence that can persuade them.

Yes you are correct. They refuse to take a side based on pure lack of knowledge. A (without) gnostic (definite knowledge/knowing)
