So when I'm trying to get a certain exotic from doing the Nightfall or any of the raids and I don't get it, but xur ends up selling this exotic I'm going to use the strange coins (which I earn doing the Weekly Herioc) to get this exotic. Rather than waiting on RNG to bless me with the exotic I need to add on to my collection. I do the Nightfalls and Raids Weekly but when xur sells an exotic I've trying to get I'm gonna buy it so STFU and stop crying.

More times than not, you'll get that exotic you've been chasing from NF, then that weekend Xur ends up selling it....Doh!

Was kidding.....partly, the amount of times I've got a weapon or armour piece from NF when I was building up characters and xur would end up selling them that weekend.

Lol coins are not even earned. I could be afk in the weekly heroic and have my teamates do all the work for me. How is that earning?

That doesn't change the fact that it happens in pvp, people get carried in both pve or pvp or that some people do loot checkpoints for the community. Just because you boot people doesn't change the fact that your statement regarding coins is the same for exotic drops.

Participating in an event, for an agreed upon compensation. It is the only form of earning. This could relate to folks in the real life, who sit in the break room for 50 minutes of each hour, and get a paycheck, then go buy an iPhone. That is still earning wages. To get something from RNG, is the same as winning a lottery. It is random, and no guarantee. Could you imagine racing for something, placing 1st, but then encountering the Marshall who then says,"Sorry, we're going to give the 1st place trophy to the guy who came in............ ............. 5th!" Xur is the horribly implemented attempt at balancing that out.
